A project by OIEC
The PLANET Fraternity projects are proposed by the International Office of Catholic Education (OIEC), an organisation that has been committed for decades to promoting education based on the values of fraternity, solidarity and respect for our common home. By setting up these projects, the OIEC is inviting schools to join a global network of schools and teachers committed to empowering young people to become agents of change for a more humane and sustainable world.
Dear teachers,
Welcome to a place where education goes beyond the classroom to become a lever for global transformation. By taking part in PLANET Fraternity projects, you are offering your pupils much more than knowledge: you are giving them the opportunity to discover the world, to forge links with young people from other cultures and to become agents of change.
These projects are designed to inspire your students to think, create and collaborate for a more fraternal and sustainable future. They are in line with Pope Francis’ call to create an education that is at the service of solidarity and the common good.
‘We must not think that these efforts will not change the world.’
– Pope Francis, Laudato Si’ n°230
With Little PLANET Fraternity and PLANET Fraternity, you are part of a global community of committed educators and young people who believe that together we can shape a better future. Are you ready to embark on this human and educational adventure?
